Washington State Patrol troopers reported two fatally injured in a hit and run car crash in Pasco. A vehicle was speeding east on Interstate 182 when it rear-ended an SUV. The SUV went careening through the median into oncoming traffic. It was then hit by three more cars according to troopers and court documents. The driver of the SUV was killed at the scene of the accident. A Mustang who was the first to crash into the SUV. The driver of the Mustang was seriously injured and taken to a nearby hospital for evaluation of injuries. It was reported that she died three days later in the hospital. The other vehicles that hit the SUV head-on suffered broken bones and facial injuries. The driver which originally caused the car crash was later found by police. He is now facing five felony charges which include two counts of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault as well as failing to stop and failing to identify himself. His bail is set at $1 million.
